​Dear Friend of the Two Hawks Foundation,
           Happy Holidays! I know that you are getting inundated with requests this time of year, so let me start by saying thank you. Whether you support the Two Hawks Foundation or another organization serving those in need, I am grateful to know that our community has so many truly generous people.         
          The Two Hawks Foundation was established in 2015 to honor the life of Dr. Lisa Marino and to continue her legacy of philanthropy. Because of your love and support, we have transformed the tragedy of losing a loved one into a charitable organization dedicated to her memory. Your kindness and compassion make it possible to change lives. We are profoundly grateful.
          The foundation already has some wonderful accomplishments and is excited for great things to come:
  • We continue to be a leading sponsor of the CF Roundtable, an amazing source of information for patients living with cystic fibrosis;
  • As promised in last year's letter, we partnered with the Center for Family Services in Camden to help address hunger by supporting a lunch program for children in poverty;
  • We held our first ever friend-raiser in Philadelphia, gathering dozens of THF supporters to say thank you;
  • We made significant strides toward funding the Dr. Lisa A. Marino scholarship for young women in the sciences. We will work with local institutions to make sure that talented students can pursue their dreams and contribute to making the world a better place.
         Each of these issues was near and dear to Lisa, our family, and friends. We are entirely funded by the generous support of those committed to our efforts and celebrating Lisa’s life.
